THE GREAT CONVERGENCE

On the Winter Solstice of December 2012, _____ people gathered from across the globe for a once in a lifetime experience at the Great Pyramids to intentionally celebrate this potent, transformational time in our lives. This particular winter solstice culminated in a prophesized galactic alignment that happens only once every 26,000 years. This alignment is what many ancient cultures, including the Mayans were pointing towards with the completion of their calendars. Some consider this alignment to be the marker of the beginning of a new era or a new age. Some even consider this to be a transition into a new paradigm, thus an evolutionary turning point for the Earth and humanity.Our intention was to consciously align with these universal forces and offer the energy we generated towards this great turning point in history.
Isis worked in collaboration with the DoLab as the Event Producer for The Great Convergence. This five-day gathering brought people together to celebrate and witness the 2012 winter solstice in one of the most powerfully spiritual places on the planet. Isis was fundamental to every level of organisation from initial visioning, promotion, liaison with third parties for logistics, conference/talks curation, music bookings and holding ceremonies during the event.
Her role for the Great Convergence included:
- Visioning and direction of event
- Building and operating international relationships with tour companies, government and Department of Antiquities
- Music, performance and ceremonial bookings
- Hotel, tours and Nile Cruise bookings and logistics
- Promotions and marketing collateral design
- Website and media copy writing
- Curation of four day conference on technology of ancient civilizations with world renowned speakers
- Facilitation of fourteen ceremonies throughout Egypt including the Great Pyramid, ancient temples and sacred sites
- Logistical / operations organisation of events including a wedding
